WB Group

WB Electronics is the leader of the WB Group, the largest private group carrying out national defence tasks. The Group is currently comprised of five companies – WB Electronics S.A., Arex Sp. z o.o., Flytronic Sp. z o.o., MindMade Sp. z o.o. and Radmor S.A. The Group was formed by bringing together their expertise, whose driving force is a synergy of competences. In harnessing the potential of all the companies in the Group, the WB Group offers revolutionary products in the field of special electronics – communication systems, fire control systems and unmanned aircraft systems. The Group is guided in its business by innovativeness and the creation of major technological breakthroughs. This has enabled it to build the position of being the technological innovator supplying its products to military forces around the world – USA, India, Malaysia, Sweden, Hungary or North Africa countries.

The first steps towards forming the WB Group were taken in 2009 when WB Electronics acquired the shares of Flytronic Sp. z o.o. Then, in 2011, the Group was joined by three more companies: Radmor S.A., Arex Sp. z o.o. and MindMade Sp. z o.o.


Flytronic Sp. z o.o., a company founded in 2008 by passionate engineers from the Silesian University of Technology – Wojciech Szumiński and Grzegorz Krupa. Since its establishment, the Company was focused on facilitating research and development works in the field of mechanics, electronics and IT within the aerospace industry. Flytronic is the author of the reconnaissance miniBSP FlyEye, which was the first to be implemented in the Polish army. After the success of FlyEye, which was successful in combat conditions in Afghanistan, Flytronic expanded its business to research in avionics, broadband telecommunication systems, programming solutions including the creation of simulation software for aviation use. The Company also focused on the creation of new unmanned platforms. In 2014, Flytronic started up a training centre for UAV operators. The first company in Poland to be granted the Polish Civil Aviation Authority Certificate for the production of special category aircraft.

Radmor S.A., the largest manufacturer of VHF FM mobile communication equipment in Poland. A Company established in 1947, with a tradition lasting several decades. The Company is closely linked with Gdynia and the Pomeranian region. AREX Sp. z o.o., has been operating on the market since 1989, initially involved in the production of measurement transducers of various physical sizes. An incentive for the Company’s growth was the creation of the electrical switch points heating system in 1994. The Company began cooperating with the leading universities of technology, shaping its speciality into electric drive control systems, weapon control systems and various weapons training systems. Arex, as a supplier of technologies, has participated in many military projects like the ZUR-23-2KG Jodek-G anti-aircraft set, the ZSMU-127 Kobuz Remote controlled weapon station, the W-3PL Głuszec combat support helicopter and the command and fire control system of the RAK 120 mm Self-Propelled Mortar.

MindMade Sp. z o.o. has been established in 2010 as a competence and research and development centre focused on telecommunications, communications, telemetry and teleautomatics. The main solutions offered by MindMade are data transmission systems based on InQL solutions, constituting a safe and efficient router platform ensuring stable and guaranteed data transmission based on simultaneous use of various media. One of its key solutions is the Communications Integration Platform (PIK), a multi-system solution integrating various radio communications technologies used by the uniformed services. One of MindMade’s latest products is a device for underwater and contactless data transmission and electric power supply.
